Seaweeds To Blitz Global Warming

It's all going down under!. Scientists at a news conference in Bali say that seaweeds could be a potent weapon against global warming, capable of sucking carbon dioxide at rates nearly five times faster than that of terrestrial plants. Some seaweeds grow upto 4 metres long in just three months. I guess that is why they need all that Co2 to supplement their growth.
