Google to launch Encyclopedia

Google is developing a new web encyclopedia called 'knol' with features similar to that of wikipedia.Currently submissions are only by invitation but Google says they will eventually allow everyone to publish articles. Another feature in knoll is that the name of the author of an article is listed as well(something which we haven't seen in wikipedia). You can find more info on 'knol' at Google's blog site.
