The guys at Taiwan's Asustek Computer Inc have come up with a laptop that has a bamboo casing. The Asus Eco Book which has a case of laminated bamboo strips is available in different colours. The product though is still in the prototype stage as engineers are checking to see if bamboo is suitable for laptops, which have to cope with extreme conditions while allowing heat from microprocessors and monitors to escape. Just make sure you are not near a Giant Panda while using it.(They Love Bamboo)
